State Police in Troop G make notable DWI arrests 9/13- 9/19

On September 14, 2024, at about 3:36 p.m., State Police of Wilton responded to the reports of a two-car crash in the area of Ballard Road in Wilton, NY. The investigation determined Melissa M. Maswich, 27, of Gansevoort, NY, was driving a vehicle when she rear-ended another vehicle stopped at a red light. Maswich was arrested for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. She was transported to SP Wilton for processing, where she was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), and a sample was taken to determine the drug content of her blood. Further investigation discovered Maswich has had a previous DWI conviction in the last ten years. Maswich was issued tickets returnable to the Wilton Town Court on October 8, 2024, and released to a sober party. The driver and sole occupant of the other vehicle was transported to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

On September 14, 2024, at about 9:24 p.m., State Police of Queensbury stopped a vehicle on I-87 in Lake George, NY, for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Bartram L. Mosher, 44, of North Creek, NY. Mosher was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Queensbury for processing, where he recorded a 0.20% BAC. Mosher was issued tickets returnable to the Lake George Town Court on September 26, 2024, and released.

On September 17, 2024, at about 9:25 p.m., State Police of Fonda observed a running vehicle stopped in a parking lot in the area of Holland Circle Drive in Amsterdam, NY. The driver was Brandon S. Williams of Troy, NY, who is known to have a suspended driver's license. Troopers interviewed Williams and arrested him for Driving While Intoxicated and other Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. He was transported to SP Fonda for processing, where he recorded a 0.12% BAC. Williams has had a previous DWI conviction in the last ten years. He was issued tickets returnable to the Amsterdam Town Court on October 22, 2024, and released.
