Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Cholesterol Education Event in Horizon City

EL PASO, Tex., Sept. 30, 2024 -Molina Healthcare of Texas, together with Common Threads at the Oz Glaze Senior Center, recently hosted a cholesterol education event for the El Paso community.

This free event, held in honor of National Cholesterol Education Month, aimed to raise awareness about cholesterol and cholesterol-related health issues. The event featured a cooking demonstration and delicious, heart-healthy recipes that attendees can use in the future to help manage cholesterol levels. Participants learned valuable information about healthy fats, whole grains and fresh ingredients.

The first 30 participants received a free farm box filled with produce.
