Postponed: MDOT open house on I 75/M 102 (8 Mile Road) interchange feasibility study in Wayne and Oakland counties

DETROIT, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is postponing the final open house for the public to learn about the results of its feasibility study for the I-75/M-102 (8 Mile Road) interchange in the cities of Detroit and Hazel Park until later this year or early 2025.

The meeting is being postponed so that the project team can refine their designs before presenting them to the public.

Background:
Land use and traffic patterns have changed over the years and MDOT has conducted a feasibility study looking at the future of the interchange. The outcome of this study will help to meet future transportation needs and improve mobility and safety.
