Kansas City area maintenance work for Aug. 19-23

LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Aug. 19-23. All work is weather permitting.

CLAY COUNTY

Route E between Quinn Rd. and end of state maintenance: full closure on Mon., Aug. 19 and Tue., Aug. 20, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.

Interstate 35 northbound ramp to Parvin Rd.: ramp closed on Tue., Aug. 20, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for lighting work and other maintenance.

JACKSON COUNTY

Interstate 70, Interstate 470, and U.S. Highway 50 at various locations: intermittent lane closures throughout the week for pavement repair work.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Route UU between Route M and where state maintenance ends: flagging operation from Mon., Aug. 19 until Thu., Aug. 22, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.

Route D between Missouri Highway 23 and U.S. 50: flagging operation on Mon., Aug. 19, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.

Route Y between Route D and Pettis County line: flagging operation on Tue., Aug. 20 and Wed., Aug. 21, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.

MO-23 between NE 175th Rd. and Lafayette County line: flagging operation on Thu., Aug. 22, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.

PETTIS COUNTY

Front St. in La Monte between S Oak St. and Pleasant Green Rd.: flagging operation on Mon., Aug. 19 and Tue., Aug. 20, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.

Route T between U.S. 50 and Route D: flagging operation on Wed., Aug. 21 and Thu., Aug. 22, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.

RAY COUNTY

Route A between Missouri Highway 10 and Caldwell County line: flagging operations at various locations from Mon., Aug. 19 and Tue., Aug. 20, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work and drainage work.

SALINE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 240 at various locations: intermittent flagging operations from Mon., Aug. 19 until Thu., Aug. 22, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for shoulder repair work.

Missouri Highway 41 at various locations: intermittent flagging operations from Mon., Aug. 19 until Thu., Aug. 22, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for shoulder repair work.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
