Whooo would like to learn more about owls? Nocturnal by nature, owls are a mysterious group of birds that are brilliantly adapted to the dark nights of late fall and winter. Family Nature Club with naturalists from Bird Conservancy of the Rockies- Nebraska Programs will take place on Saturday, November 2nd from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Scotts Bluff National Monument Visitor Center, located at 190276 Old Oregon Trail in Gering. During the program we will learn about our Nebraska owls and, through a variety of hands-on activities and biofacts, investigate their keen sensory abilities and their secrets of stealth and silence. Registration is required for this event. Please visit: https://bit.ly/BCRne24 to register.
