American Energy is The Solution

For the past three and a half years, the Biden-Harris Administration has taken every action imaginable to stifle American energy dominance, including an attempted moratorium on American liquified natural gas (LNG) export permits. Thankfully, a federal court blocked this reckless action. Still, they are dragging their feet and delaying the review and approval of these permits.

If the Biden-Harris Administration would take a moment to review our own government's data, they would realize that American energy, especially American natural gas, is the solution, not the problem. Thanks in part to American natural gas, the U.S. is a global leader in carbon emissions reduction. However, this continued success is only possible with an all-of-the-above-energy strategy rather than the Biden-Harris Administration's not-in-my-backyard mentality.

American natural gas is the cleanest, safest, and most ethically sourced on earth. This week, I proudly joined a bipartisan group of Congressional leaders in officially calling on the Biden-Harris Administration to comply with the federal court order and expedite the review and approval of existing LNG export permit applications. The bipartisan nature of this effort underscores the widespread agreement on the importance of bolstering American energy capabilities. It's past time for this Administration to prioritize policies to support good-paying American jobs and lower energy costs, rather than appeasing extreme climate activists.
