Keynote speakers announced for AICPA & CIMA UK & Ireland ENGAGE Conference 2024

23 September, London - AICPA & CIMA ENGAGE UK & Ireland Conference is set to return to London on 8 and 9 October at the Hilton Tower Bridge. This year's agenda covers a wide range of topics such as business partnering, digital transformation, corporate sustainability, and strategic leadership.

Sponsored by Kainos, the two-day hybrid conference includes three tracks of expert content aimed at different career stages. Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from a host of seasoned experts, gain access to exclusive content, develop practical skills, and leave feeling empowered to advance their professional journeys.

The event will have two main keynote speakers:

  • The multi award-winning journalist, Pippa Crerar who has been covering UK and international politics for over two decades. She is currently Political Editor at The Guardian and previously held the same role at the Daily Mirror where she exposed the Partygate and Barnard Castle scandals. Pippa is also a regular on broadcast media, including Sky News and the BBC, where she is a presenter of Radio 4's "The Week in Westminster".

  • Highly successful entrepreneur and podcaster Steven Bartlett who, at just 21 years old, founded what would become one of the world's most influential social media companies, Social Chain. In recent years, he has invested in and launched many successful businesses, including his own private equity fund. Steven also hosts the top-rated business podcast "The Diary of a CEO", is a Sunday Times best-selling author, and the youngest ever investor on BBC One's "Dragons' Den".

In addition, AICPA & CIMA will host their annual ENGAGE Finance Awards Ceremony. This event celebrates the accomplishments of CGMA candidates, CIMA members, and partners, recognising individuals and teams who have done outstanding work to advance the finance profession and shape its future.
