CITY OF PALATKA PUBLIC NOTICES OF VOLUNTARY ANNEXATION, FUTURE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT, AND REZONING

NOTICE is hereby given the Palatka City Commission will hold public hearings to consider the enactment of the following Ordinances at City Hall 201 N. 2nd St., Palatka, FL 32177 on September 26 and October 10, 2024 at 6:00PM

Ordinance 2024-11 is for the annexation and future land use map amendment: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF PARCEL OF LAND (25.23 ACRES +/- IN SIZE) INTO THE CITY LIMITS; PROVIDING THAT THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND FROM PUTNAM COUNTY URBAN SERVICE (US) TO RESIDENTIAL MEDIUM DENSITY (RM) FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY LOCATED MCLAURY DRIVE, PALATKA, FLORIDA 32177, PARCEL 10-10-26-0000-0130-0010; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVERNER'S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance 2024-14 is for rezoning of the above said property: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA BE ANMENDED FROM PUTNAM COUNTY RESIDENTIAL SINGLE FAMILY (R-1) TO CITY OF PALATKA MULTI-FAMILY (R-3) WITH A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY FOR THE FOLLOWING PROPERTY AT MCLAURY DRIVE, PALATKA, FLORIDA 32177, PARCEL 10-10-26-0000-0130-0010; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVERNER'S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Ordinance 2024-13 is for rezoning: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA PROVIDING THAT THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PALATKA, FLORIDA BE AMENDED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING PARCEL OF LAND FROM COMMERCIAL NEIHBORHOOD DISTRICT (C-1A ) TO RESIDENTIAL MULTIFAMILY (R-3 ) WITH A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY FOR THE FOLLOOWING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6201 ST. JOHNS AVENUE, PALATKA, FL 32177, PARCEL: 10-10-26-0200-0060; PROVIDING FOR SCRIVENER'S ERRORS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
