Gipson named Employee of the Second Quarter

Environmental Health Services Supervisors play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our community by maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance and public health. Help us congratulate Crispin Gipson for his dedication to keeping our city safe and thriving.

Crispin Gipson, Environmental Health Services Supervisor, was named the Employee of the Quarter for April - June 2024.

Crispin stood out for his contributions during city special events, demonstrating a strong work ethic and calm demeanor that greatly benefit his role in handling health inspections and ensuring citizen safety. He is described as someone with a selfless drive for excellence and a high level of commitment to the City of Burleson.

Crispin's nomination form highlighted his efforts to go above and beyond his job duties. Most notably, he responded on short notice to permit extra food trucks added to the city's Juneteenth celebration, coming up on a Saturday with a professional and courteous attitude. Crispin's approach to service is characterized by his even temperament and collaborative spirit, always seeking to assist and ensure the smooth execution of city services.

Crispin has been with the city for over a year, starting in May 2023. He was honored during the July 22, 2024, City Council meeting.

The city's Employee of the Quarter award is based on an employee's efficiency, transparency, honesty, innovation, and customer service, all of which comprise the city's ethics statement.
