Motorists Asked to Use Caution on 12th Avenue North

The road remains open as crews work to address an oil spill

The City of Fargo Public Works Department has applied sand to the westbound lanes of 12th Avenue North from 29th Street to 35th Street to absorb oil spilled by a semi.

Signs are in place asking motorists to drive slowly on that stretch of road, which remains open to traffic. Motorcyclists are urged to use extra caution.

Crews are expected to finish cleaning the road by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23.
