Brian Hoppy Named HDR's Environmental, Operations and Construction Company President

Brian Hoppy, CEP, has been promoted to HDR Environmental, Operations and Construction Company president. In this new role, Hoppy will lead the company's business strategy and operational oversight for a distributed team of environmental scientists, planners, program management/construction management, construction inspection staff, and operations management professionals.

EOC focuses primarily on serving U.S. federal clients with their most sensitive environmental compliance, program management, construction, asset management, and operational challenges.

"First and foremost, I would like to thank Paul Owen (immediate past EOC president) for his leadership and stewardship of HDR EOC," Hoppy said. "I am humbled by this opportunity to come full circle in my time at HDR and return to EOC. I am excited by the potential of this very talented EOC team, and I look forward to continuing to collaborate with our operations and business group leadership and growing our federal program."

In Hoppy's previous role as director of cross-sector services, he provided support overseeing a global practice of more than 2,500 technical professionals across 13 service lines, partnering with operational and business group leadership to bring together top expertise, technologies and resources to solve our clients' most pressing challenges.

With more than 30 years of professional experience, Hoppy's leadership includes administration of large indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts and projects with federal and international government agencies, intelligence community clients, and private and commercial clients.

Hoppy is a member of the HDR Foundation Board, chair of HDR's Fellowship Program Council, and a member of HDR's National Civic Affairs Committee. He is also a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies Water and Environment Committee.
