Water customer service location, hours changing Aug. 19

Starting Monday, Aug. 19, in-person business with Fort Worth Water Customer Relations is moving to the fifth floor of the new City Hall, 100 Fort Worth Trail. At the same time, the operating hours are changing to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What is moving: This move affects only the services listed below. The in-person account services moving on Aug. 19 from 908 Monroe St. are:

  • Making account or billing inquiries
  • Canceling service
  • Requesting duplicate bills
  • Requesting assistance with MyH2O portal
  • Establishing new service
  • Making payment arrangements
  • Making payments
  • Transferring service
  • Filing paperwork or making deposits for contractor fire hydrant meters

Most of the above services can be handled by phone.

The in-person services moving on Aug. 19 from the lower level of Old City Hall are:

  • Paying water impact fees, tap fees or other development related fees
  • Requesting/receiving permit review comments - residential and commercial
  • Inquiries regarding development-related water or sewer work order status
  • Consultations on water and sewer issues related to development

All these services remain offered at their current locations through close of business on Friday, Aug. 16.

What is not changing: The water customer contact center remains open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for receiving phone calls about account services. All other sections of the water utility located in old City Hall and other surrounding buildings will remain in their current office space for the next few months.
