Zora Does it Again at the International Junior Milking Shorthorn Show

MADISON, WIS. - Out of the 123 entries for the 2024 International Junior Milking Shorthorn Show, Heavenly Zora-ET owned by Dillon Freeman, of Bremen, Ind., was awarded Grand Champion of the Junior Show after claiming Senior Champion honors. Zora will also receive the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion of the Junior Show and the $650 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Award. Reserve Senior and Reserve Grand Champion honors went to Lazy M Jk Lady In-Red-EXP, owned by Aubree, Aiden, and Alaina Topp of Botkins, Ohio.

The winning junior of the Junior Two-Year-Old Class, Corstar Win Maisel-EXP, was chosen as the Intermediate Champion. She is owned by Jadeyn, Alexa, Raela, and Walker Mueterthies of Lawler, Iowa. Lazy M Bender Back-EXP, also owned by Jadeyn, Alexa, Raela and Walker Mueterthies of Lawler, Iowa, was tapped for Reserve Intermediate Champion. She was the winning cow of the Senior Two-Year-Old Class.

The winning Fall Calf, Dc-KnH Rockstar Cuddles-ET, was tapped for Junior Champion. Cuddles is leased by Cameron Ryan and owned by Peter Vail of Fond du Lac, Wis. Reserve Junior Champion went to the winning Winter Heifer Calf, KnH Endres Legend Has It-ET, owned by Steve Morris & Brooklynn Hollis, of German Valley, Ill.

Official judge Chris Lahmers of Marysville, Ohio, and associate judge, Mike Maier of Stitzer, Wis., evaluated the 123 junior Milking Shorthorn entries.
