Double 007 Triumphs go to Auction

A pair of limited edition 007 x Triumph motorcycles personally owned and signed by Daniel Craig are being auctioned for charity in the U.K.

To mark Triumph's starring role in No Time To Die in 2020 the British motorcycle maker built 250 Scrambler 1200 Bond Editions and 250 Tiger 900 Bond Editions. The very first Tiger and the third Scrambler were delivered to Craig, who has now elected to sell them to raise funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute.

Craig has autographed both bikes and each comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the 007 actor and Triumph boss Nick Bloor. The buyers will also receive an off-road riding experience at the Triumph Adventure Experience in Wales in the company of James Bond stunt co-ordinator Lee Morrison and Craig's stunt double Paul Edmondson.

In No Time to Die Bond tears through the narrow medieval streets of Matera, Italy on a Scrambler and, later, at the wheel of a Toyota Land Cruiser in Norway, he's pursued by villains on Tigers. In each case the Triumph's off-road abilities are seriously tested.

"The riding experience with Lee Morrison and Paul Edmondson adds another unique and exciting dynamic to the lots," says Craig. "I worked with Lee on Casino Royale, all the way through to No Time To Die; the opportunity is not to be missed and will help raise funds for the truly lifesaving cause that is the RNLI."

The bikes will be auctioned by Bonhams at the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show on October 12-13, and both have an estimated sale price of £10,000-£20,000 ($13,175-$26,350).
