Associate Spotlight: Jared Sanford
Jared Sanford (he/him), an Apparel Graphic Designer on the Hollister Men's Team, started his journey at A&F Co. with an internship in 2016. Since then, he's learned to strike the balance between new ideas and what already works, helping him meet the customer where they are.

What has your career path been so far?
My journey with A&F Co. started with an internship in 2016, at the end of which I accepted a full-time position. After I graduated from CCAD, I used the 6 months before my start date to work in stores and get closer to the customer. Since fall of 2017 I have worked on the Hollister Men's Graphic Design team.
What does success look like in your job?
In my role, I find success comes when I'm able to balance proven ideas and new trends. Pushing the business forward and unlocking new ideas is the most rewarding part of the job. I enjoy finding solutions that both answer a challenge and allow me to flex my creative muscles.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
The most motivating part of working at A&F Co. is being around my teammates and friends. Getting to work towards a common goal with people that I genuinely love being around is the best part of the job.
What excites you about the future at A&F Co.?
Working on the Hollister brand means I continuously get to meet customers as they age into our clothing. I look forward to discovering what interests them and how that is reflected in the clothing they choose to purchase.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Outside of work I love going to the movies with my partner, Niall. Come awards season, you'll see us at the theater every weekend checking out all the nominees. On Oscars night, I get together with my friends and throw a viewing party.
