Dale Townhomes Project Update

Dale Townhomes Project Update: Notice of Public Hearing and Intent to Adopt an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the Dale Townhomes Project

On July 3rd, updated development plans for the Dale Townhomes Project (8030 Dale Street), were submitted to the City of Buena Park. The latest renderings and site plans detail a proposal that includes 93 townhome units distributed across 14 detached buildings. The project also features 212 on-site parking spaces, various open space areas, and several on-site and off-site improvements.

In compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the City of Buena Park is issuing a Notice of Public Hearing and Intent to Adopt an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the Dale Townhomes Project.

The Draft Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MDN) concludes that no significant unavoidable environmental effects would occur as a result of the proposed Project. The public review period for the Draft Initial Study Mitigated Negative Declaration will conclude on August 19, 2024.

The Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on this matter at City Hall on August 28, 2024.The City Council will hold a public hearing in September, 2024. Both hearings will provide a platform for community members to express their views regarding the project.
