Laclede County Route B to close for bridge deck replacement

Osage Fork Bridge scheduled to close Aug. 26 - Dec. 1

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo - Laclede County Route Bbridge overthe Osage Fork of the Gasconade Riveris scheduled to close soonfor a bridge deckreplacement project. Construction crews,working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will close the bridge to all trafficbeginning the morning of Aug. 26.

Built in 1964, the supporting structures of the bridge are in good condition. The driving surface, however,has deteriorated, is in poor condition, and needs to be replaced. The bridge is expected to remain closed through November. Throughout the closure, asigned detourwill be in place directingmotorists to use Missouri Routes32and5, and Laclede County Route O.

At their March2024 meeting, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a $1,136,034.00contract toE & C Bridge, LLCto complete thisbridge deck replacement.All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
