W. Washington Street and S. 1st Street water outage and road closure for water main leak repair

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water is repairing a water main that will cause a water outage and low water pressure to the following streets and roads.

- W. Washington Street (S. 1st Street to S. Spring Street)

- S. 1st Street (W. Washington Street to Union Street)

Low water pressure possible for the vicinity during the work.

W. Washington Street will be closed from S. 1st Street to S. Spring Street. Traffic will be detoured to S. 1st Street and S. Spring Street to avoid the work zone. Motorists are advised to slow down and be alert to workers and their equipment.

The water main work is anticipated to be finished, water service restored, and the road reopened by approximately 4 p.m.
