STOCKTON, Calif.-California Water Service (Cal Water) announced today that Craig Stevens was selected as the new District Manager of the utility's Stockton operations. Stevens has been with Cal Water for 20 years and has extensive hands-on knowledge of district operations and water systems. He succeeds Tony Carrasco, who was named as the Interim District Manager of Stockton in 2023 when Jeremiah Mecham, then District Manager was named General Manager of sister utility Texas Water Service.
Stevens started his Cal Water career in the company's Livermore District in 2004 and then transferred to Stockton as a Utility Worker/Relief Certified Pump Operator. He has also worked as a Foreman, Superintendent, and Operations Manager.

"He will ensure our Stockton District customers continue to receive the same excellent quality, service, and value they have come to expect and deserve."
Stevens holds Water Treatment Grade Two and Water Distribution Grade Four certifications from the State Water Resources Control Board.
