Help New Employees Feel Connected
Join the buddy program to help a new employee and make a connection outside your department!
The Buddy Program, hosted by the Employee Experience department, is intended to be a fun and casual six-month commitment, with a monthly meeting for coffee, lunch or whatever setting works best for both of you! There are options for both faculty and staff. If you have questions, please email [email protected].
Note: Participation in this program is social (not mentorship) and does not count toward promotion, tenure or retirement.
For Existing Employees
Sign up to help a new faculty member settle in at UAA! If you want to learn more, please attend our optional info session on Tuesday, Sep. 17, 12:30-1 p.m. It will be an opportunity to ask questions, hear from those who have participated in the program, and clarify your role as a buddy! RSVP by emailing [email protected]. If you are not able to attend, or are ready to sign up now, please fill out the buddy request form to be paired with a new employee.
