16th Annual Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway of Valor Tribute Ride is July 13, 2024

The 16th Annual Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway of Valor Tribute Ride, sponsored by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapters 377, 480 and Chapter 704, also by Blue Knights Chapter 17, is on Saturday, July 13, 2024. The ride is anticipated to drive through the City of Auburn on NYS Route 38 from south to north at approximately 2 p.m.

The Ride forms up at the Owego Free Academy on Sheldon Guile Blvd., in Owego, NY, and departs from there at 11 am, riding North on State Route 38 for the 100-mile ride. The first stop for the ride is at the American Legion in Groton, NY, for food and gas before departing at 1 pm, riding again North on Route 38, known as, The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway of Valor.

The ride ends at the American Legion in Hannibal, NY. Where there will be food and entertainment.

City of Auburn residents that would like to view the ride as it passes through are encouraged to view on South Street in front of Memorial City Hall or view from the courtyard in front of the Equal Rights Heritage Center.

  • 1300 hrs - food & gas stop, Rt 38, American Legion Post 800, Groton NY
  • 1400 hrs-Rt 38 thru Auburn NY
  • 1415 hrs-Rt 38 thru Port Byron NY
  • 1425 hrs-Rt 38 thru Victory/cross Rt 370
  • 1430 hrs-Rt 38 thru N Victory/cross Rt 104
  • 1435 hrs-Rt 38 thru Sterling/onto Rt 104A
  • 1440 hrs-Rt 104A/right turn onto Rt 3 at Crockett's Corners
  • 1445 hrs-Right>Rt 66 Rd, Left>Rochester St>Hannibal American Legion Post 1552
