Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from south-west Sydney.
Miriam Safwan, aged 12, was last seen on Clarke Street, Bass Hill, about 5.30pm Saturday (16 November 2024).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified last night (Saturday 17 November 2024) and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.
Miriam is described as being of Maori/ Pacific Islander appearance, about 165cm tall, of medium build, and with long black curly hair,
She was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants and Elite 11 branded hoodie.
Miriam is known to utilise public transport and frequents Bankstown Shopping Centre, Punchbowl, Beverly Hills, Parramatta and Hurstville areas.
