Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Immunization Awareness Event for Seniors in Alton

ALTON, Tex., Aug. 21, 2024 - Molina Healthcare of Texas' Grandparents Social Club recently hosted an adult immunization awareness event for seniors from the Alton Recreation Center.

This free event, held in honor of National Immunization Awareness Month, provided information on the importance of immunizations and those that are recommended for older adults whose immune systems may have weakened with age, making them more susceptible to illness.

As part of this event, seniors were treated to a special presentation on immunizations, followed by an interactive game. Healthy snacks, smoothies and prizes were also included.
