Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 1550 Leona Street

September 27, 2024- Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 1550 Leona Street about 6:50 p.m. on Thursday (September 26).

The identity of the man, 23, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Michon and D. Davis reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person found at an apartment complex at the above location. Upon arrival, officers were notified by Houston Fire Department paramedics that they located the male in the breezeway between the parking garage and an apartment building.

An autopsy will be conducted by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences to determine the manner and cause of death.
