TRAFFIC ALERT New Castle County I 95/Rt 896 Interchange Upcoming Closures
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) advises motorists that there will be overnight full closures of Rt 896 northbound and southbound Monday, July 29th and Tuesday, July 30th for steel girder installation. The ramp from northbound Rt 896 onto northbound I-95 will also be closed overnight. The southbound I-95 off ramps to Rt 896 will remain open. There will be associated overnight lane closures each night on Rt 896 northbound and southbound approaching the work area. Detours will be posted.

· Monday July 29 through Thursday August 1: Daytime Lane Closure, Northbound I-95 from the Route 896 Interchange to the Welcome Center (9AM - 6PM)
· Monday July 29 and Tuesday July 30: Overnight Ramp Closure, Northbound Route 896 to Northbound I-95.
o Monday 7/29: Overnight Ramp Closure 8PM - 6AM
o Tuesday 7/30: Overnight Ramp Closure 11PM - 5AM
