First Mecalux-MIT workshop dives into intelligent logistics systems

Mecalux and the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics (CTL) convened in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for a hands-on workshop, marking the first milestone in their research collaboration. Hosted at the MIT Intelligent Logistics Systems Lab on 13-14 November 2024, the two-day workshop focused on autonomous mobile robots, distributed order management systems, and the future of supply chains.

Mecalux experts presented their latest logistics technologies and software, highlighting their practical applications in modern warehouses. Teams tackled technical challenges, reviewed data requirements, and outlined the next steps for the research streams.
