41 Panthers recognized on Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll
Forty-one SUNY Old Westbury student athletes earned a place on the 2023-2204 Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll announced on Monday, July 15, 2024, by the Skyline Conference.
The Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes from men's and women's basketball teams, men's volleyball, women's lacrosse, softball, and baseball teams
In order to be recognized, student-athletes must have earned a minimum 3.30 GPA throughout their coursework. From the 12 Skyline Conference institutions there were 850 student-athletes named to the honor roll across the board.
"We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes' success in the classroom," said Lenore Walsh, SUNY Old Westbury's director of athletics. "Their ability to balance both academic and athletic excellence is admirable."
The campus' baseball and softball teams led the way with 15 and 11 honorees, respectively.
This winter/spring, SUNY Old Westbury had 41 student-athletes named to the Skyline Conference Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll. Those student-athletes are listed below.
