The University's month-long open enrollment continues through Thursday, Oct. 31, for employees to make important choices about their 2025 health insurance.
The University will again offer several benefit plans to best suit the needs of employees and their eligible dependents. UToledo continues to support its employees by covering 80% of the total premium cost on all available health plans.
Employees and health plan members have the opportunity to experience lower overall healthcare costs by utilizing the available services through UToledo Health, where the deductible and out-of-pocket maximum costs are the lowest.
Please refer to the Open Enrollment web pages located on the HR website to review the adjusted 2025 rate charts for specific elections.
Due to updated IRS regulations on high deductible plans, the blue plan will see an increase to the minimum deductible to be compliant with HSA requirements.
Employees participating in HSA or FSA elections must assign their deductions in the Open Enrollment portal. The 2024 plan and premium information is posted for reference at utoledo.edu/open-enrollment.
Additionally, Human Resources is available to assist with any questions during the Open Enrollment process and can be contacted today, Oct. 30, and tomorrow, Oct. 31, from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. by emailing [email protected] or calling 419.530.4747, Option 4.
