Killeen Family Aquatic Center waterpark and Long Branch pools scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend

KILLEEN, Texas (May 10, 2024) - The City of Killeen's Family Aquatic Center waterpark (1800 East Stan Schlueter Loop) and Long Branch Pool (1101 Branch Drive) will be open Memorial Day weekend (May 25 - May 27), then again on June 1 for daily operations.

The FAC is a ten thousand square foot multi-use water park, with three water slides, a diving board, splash pad, picnic tables, shade structures and more.

The Family Aquatic Center hours will be:

  • Saturday, May 25: 10a.m. - 6:30p.m.
  • Sunday, May 26: 1p.m. - 6:30p.m.
  • Monday, May 27: 11a.m. - 5p.m.

The Family Aquatic Center will reopen for the full summer season on June 1 and run through Labor Day, Sept. 2. Hours of operation will be:

  • Sundays: 1p.m. - 6:30p.m.
  • Saturdays: 10a.m. - 6:30p.m.
  • Thursday-Fridays: 11a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Mondays: Closed (except on Memorial/Labor Day)

Day pass rates this year will be:

  • $10 for adults (17-54)
  • $9 for youth (4-16)
  • $2 for children (1-3)
  • $8 for seniors (55 and up)

Season pass rates for this year are:

  • Youth (4-16): $75
  • Adult (17-54): $100
  • Senior (55+): $75
  • Family (2 adults, 2 children): $200

Long Branch Pool will also open on May 25 - May 27 and begin daily operations on June 1. Operational hours will be:

  • Tuesday-Sunday 11a.m.-6p.m.
  • Monday: Closed

Day pass rates this year for Long Branch Pool will be:

  • $3 for adults (17-54)
  • $2 for youth (4-16)
  • $2 for children (1-3)
  • $2 for seniors (55 and up)

Season pass rates for this year are:

  • Youth (4-16): $35
  • Adult (17-54): $60
  • Senior (55+): $35
  • Family (up to six members): $120

The Junior Service League of Killeen Spray Pad at Long Branch Park will be open Saturday, May 25 at 8:30 a.m. until at least Labor Day, Sept. 2.

Beginning Aug. 10 through Labor Day weekend, the Family Aquatic Center waterpark will be open on weekends only. Beginning Aug. 11, Long Branch Pool will close for the season.
