IDA21 Replenishment: Global and Regional IDA Forums

October 22
(In-person)

Global (DC@Annual Meetings)

IDA is in the process to develop a policy and financial package for its twenty-first round of funding (IDA21). The process launched in December 2023 and will end in December 2024.

Since April 2024, IDA has been engaging civil society partners to obtain their input and feedback into the proposed IDA21 strategic policy directions. This happened through Regional IDA Forums held across all the seven regions that IDA operates in - Eastern & Southern Africa; Western & Central Africa; Middle East & North Africa; East Asia & Pacific; Latin America & the Caribbean; South Asia; and Europe & Central Asia. This is the first time IDA has engaged so extensively across the regions to develop a replenishment package.

In addition to the regional forums, a global IDA forum was held in April at the Spring Meetings. The second global IDA forum will be held in-person in Washington, DC on October 22. 2024 to update civil society partners on the draft IDA21 policy package. Please register here to attend the Global IDA Forum.

Civil society partners wishing to attend the October forum in DC must be registered for the Annual Meetings.
