A.C.Camargo Cancer Center teams up with Kyndryl to improve patient experience

SAO PAULO, July 3, 2024 - Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider, and the A.C.Camargo Cancer Center, national and international reference in teaching, research and cancer treatment, announced a collaboration to implement Dynatrace's observability platform to integrate and accelerate IT operations that are responsible for monitoring patients' end-to-end experience.

A.C.Camargo Cancer Center is dedicated to the well-being of patients from the very first contact with its medical team, aiming to provide an integrated healthcare experience that encompasses prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care. To accelerate its digital transformation and modernize operations, A.C.Camargo worked with Kyndryl Consult experts to assess its IT environment. Following the assessment, Kyndryl recommended the deployment of Dynatrace's advanced observability and monitoring platform, designed to optimize the outpatient experience.

By providing end-to-end platform implementation support, understanding of their applications and creating a customized dashboard, Kyndryl services provide A.C.Camargo an application monitoring experience with a comprehensive view of the care cycle across all Cancer Center units.

With instant visibility of the number of scheduled appointments per date, the number of patients currently being attended to and those awaiting medical services, A.C.Camargo staff will be able to proactively manage patient flow. This real-time dashboard allows for a precise determination of the time patients spend from arrival to receiving medical attention, facilitating adjustments in the sizing of care and physician team available as needed.

In addition to enhancing its observability across the IT estate, A.C.Camargo inaugurated a state-of-the-art datacenter to support its operations. The new modular datacenter has a Tier 3 classification and was designed and implemented by Kyndryl to integrate the Cancer Center IT architecture into a cohesive ecosystem for simplified management, enhanced operational efficiency and business continuity.
