NEWBERRY, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $300,000 to rebuild about half a mile of shoulder on
M-28 from east of Grand Street to Grand Elk Railroad Crossing in Seney Township, Schoolcraft County. The project includes trenching, aggregate base and hot-mix asphalt surfacing of the shoulder on the south side of M-28.

Traffic restrictions:
Motorists should expect daytime lane closures on M-28. One lane will be maintained in each direction using traffic regulators. An 11-foot lane width restriction will be in place during the project.
