City of Brampton to mark a significant milestone in Automated Speed Enforcement program

​​​​Brampton's Mayor Patrick Brown and Rowena Santos, Regional Councillor for Wards 1 & 5 and Chair of Legislative Services, will be joined by community partners to make an announcement about Brampton's new Automated Speed Enforcement Processing Centre. As students begin a new school year and roadway traffic increases with young pedestrians and their families returning to school, this announcement recognizes a pivotal advancement in road safety locally and across the province.

Members of the media will hear remarks from Mayor Brown and Regional Councillor Santos and be able to capture footage of the event.

TIME: 8:45 am - speaking remarks followed by an opportunity for questions.
