Moffitt Cancer Center Earns North America's Project Management Office of the Year

TAMPA, Fla.- Moffitt Cancer Center has been recognized as the 2024 North America Project Management Office (PMO) of the Year by the Project Management Institute's PMO Global Awards. This recognition highlights the exceptional work of Moffitt's Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, showcasing their excellence in aligning projects with organizational strategy, standardizing processes, optimizing resource allocation and delivering consistent, high-performance results across the cancer center.

The Moffitt team now advances as a finalist for the World PMO of the Year Award, alongside top PMOs from Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. The world champion will be announced at the PMO World UnConference in Istanbul, Turkey, on Dec. 9, 2024.

"Our project management team has been instrumental in delivering excellent results on many complex and strategic initiatives at Moffitt. It's an outstanding achievement to compete against global players from a wide range of industries and win the North America competition.," said Sabi Singh, chief operating officer of Moffitt.

The PMO Global Awards, established in 2018 by the PMO Global Alliance, is the largest and most esteemed recognition in the field of project management offices worldwide. With participants from over 150 countries, the awards honor organizations that exemplify excellence in client service, project management, innovation, adaptability and community engagement.
