City Seeks DRI Project Ideas

The City of Poughkeepsie is seeking information about projects that are under development along the Main Street commercial corridor that can be included in its application for funding under the New York State Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI), a statewide program aimed at revitalizing urban communities.

If awarded, the city will secure $10 million in funding for projects in the city's downtown commercial corridor. Projects will be reviewed by the city for potential inclusion in the application.

If you are interested in submitting a project for consideration, please review the eligibility criteria and submit using this link.

The deadline for submission is Friday, September 20.

3. Must leverage additional funding sources and illustrate a path to full financing.

4. Must be transformative for the downtown boundary area.
