NJ I-Bank and NJDEP Helping to Improve New Jersey's Infrastructure, One Project at a Time

Jersey City MUA ("JCMUA") recently closed on two loans with the NJ Water Bank totaling $71,062,428. The clean water project proposes to replace approximately 28,757 linear feet of combined sewer mains, including manholes, sewer laterals, and stormwater inlets. In addition, the project will include the rehabilitation of approximately 1,036 linear feet of combined sewer main using trenchless technology. The installation of new watertight pipes and manholes will improve the combined sewer system by reducing the amount of infiltration /exfiltration.

The drinking water project will finance the implementation of JCMUA's lead service line replacement plan in compliance with the new Lead and Copper Rule Revisions.
