Appeal to find girl missing from Sydney's north

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney's northern suburbs.

Letha Walters, aged 12, was last seen at Mill Park at Asquith about 8.00pm today (Wednesday 18 December 2024).

When she did not return home and could not be located, officers attached to Ku-ring-gai Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to find her.

Family and police hold concerns for Letha's welfare as she is believed to have wandered into bushland near the park where she was last seen.

Letha is described as being of Caucasian appearance, brown curly hair in a low pony tail, about 152cm tall, thin build, with a fair complexion.

She was last seen wearing, wearing a school uniform brown checked dress.

Anyone who may have seen Letha, or may know of her whereabouts, is urged to contact Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
