Lincoln University of Missouri Reports a Decade of Academic Gains

Lincoln University of Missouri has reported significant academic gains over the past decade. The increases in GPA across different demographics and academic levels suggest positive developments in the university's academic programs and student support systems, highlighting an upward trend in student performance.

The average GPA of Lincoln University undergraduate and graduate students combined has increased from 2.77 in 2015 to 3.00 in 2024, an 8.30325% increase. In the past five years, the average undergraduate student GPA increased from 2.85 in 2019 to 2.95 in 2024. For graduate students, their GPAs increased from 3.71 in 2019 to 3.77 in 2024.

Notable gains were observed among Black or African American students, with their average GPA rising from 2.19 in 2015 to 2.54 in 2024, a gain of 0.35 points. Over the past five years, their GPA increased from 2.40 in 2019 to 2.54 in 2024.

Female students showed a notable increase in average GPA, rising from 2.87 in 2015 to 3.07 in 2024, a 6.97% increase. In the past five years, their GPA increased from 3.00 in 2019 to 3.07 in 2024. Male students also improved, with their average GPA rising from 2.65 in 2015 to 2.91 in 2024, and from 2.74 in 2019 to 2.91 in 2024 over the past five years.

The average GPA of first-time freshmen increased from 2.35 in 2015 to 2.71 in 2024. Over the past five years, their GPA rose from 2.53 in 2019 to 2.71 in 2024.
