Arson In Valatie

PRESS RELEASE

On August 22, 2024, the New York State Police in Kinderhook responded to a residence in Valatie with the Chatham and Tr-Village Fire Departments for a structure fire. The engulfed structure, discovered to be a shed, housing all-terrain vehicles, a zero-turn mower and other lawn equipment, was extinguished but a total loss.

Investigation determined Noah D. Faulkner, age 21, of Valatie, who was familiar with the victim, intentionally set the fire.

Faulkner was arraigned before the town of Chatham Court and released on his own recognizance to reappear before the court on September 4, 2024, at 3:30 p.m.
