SCDOT to hold a drop-in public information meeting in Richland County

Columbia, S.C.(August 20, 2024) - SCDOT will hold a drop-in public information meeting on Thursday, August 22, 2024 regarding a road safety assessment project in Richland County.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024. The meeting will take place at the Girl Scouts of South Carolina - Mountains to MidlandsMulti-Purpose Room located at 1107 Williams Street, Columbia, SC 29201. SCDOT representatives will be available at the meeting to discuss the proposed project with members of the community. There will be no formal presentation.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation proposes safety improvements along Assembly Street from Elmwood Avenue to Rosewood Drive. Typical improvements proposed include signal, signage, and sidewalk improvements.
