On July 2, 2024, the Major Crimes Unit arrested Jonathan McClurg, age 39, of 11 Josephine Street, North Providence, Rhode Island, for three (3) counts of Forgery and Counterfeiting in General. Mr. McClurg was taken into custody at Sixth Division District Court, arraigned and held as a bail violator. As a condition of bail, Mr. McClurg will be processed at the ACI at a later date.

On July 2, 2024, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Carlow Pena, age 44, of 66 Westfield Avenue #8, Providence, Rhode Island, on a Federal Probation Warrant for violating terms and conditions of his Federal Probation for drugs and alcohol. Mr. Pena was taken into custody without incident and transported directly to the Providence Federal Courthouse.
