Verizon network issues affecting 911 calls

Verizon customers may be unable to make 911 calls. Residents with Verizon should stand-by after dialing 9-1-1 and a dispatcher should call them back. If they do not receive a call back, they should attempt to call 9-1-1 again.

Residents with Verizon experiencing an emergency should call 850-983-5370 if unable to get through to 911.

Verizon is aware of the issue and is working to correct it as soon as possible. The estimated time of repair is unknown.
