Rockland County - The Village of Airmont Planning Board, as lead agency, has made the Final Scope for the proposed Blue Rill Estates available. The action involves a proposal to conduct a project on three parcels of land with a total area of approximately 17.99 acres located on the west side of Saddle River Road, approximately 78 feet south of Long Meadow Drive, within the Village of Airmont. The land is currently being used as the Blue Rill Day camp, which includes various existing structures, paved walkways, play areas, and landscaped spaces. The Project includes removal of the existing structures on the site and construction of a senior housing project. The Sponsor proposes 105 units of semi-attached, two-story single-family homes. The site will be served by two entrances on Saddle River Road. The development will also include two community centers as well as active and passive recreation areas to be used by the residents. The development will also include off-street parking, sidewalks, landscaping, and site-lighting. The project is located at 444 Saddle River Rd in the Village of Airmont, New York.
