MPD Seeks a Suspect in Northwest Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's seek the public's assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in a Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse offense that occurred in Northwest.

On Monday, July 1, 2024, at approximately 8:25 p.m., the suspect made unwanted sexual contact with the victim, who was walking along a trail in the 3800 block of Connecticut Avenue Northwest. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was uninjured.

The suspect is described as a tall Hispanic male, in his 20's with short black hair. He was last seen wearing tennis shoes, a gray sweatshirt, and a black bookbag.
