Vancouver Police arrest man for incidents at Clark College

September 28, 2024

On September 26th at approximately 1:10 p.m., Vancouver Police responded to Clark College (1933 Fort Vancouver Way) and met with Clark College Security personnel who reported that at approximately 7:00 a.m. a 17-year-old student reported to them an unknown male followed her after she got off the bus, asked her questions about her age and made comments that made her feel uncomfortable and scared. After hearing the information regarding the male's behavior, security personnel checked campus video and saw a male matching the description sitting in a public/common area of the campus appearing to be masturbating.

On September 26th at approximately 4:30 p.m., Vancouver Police were dispatched Clark College a second time and were notified by security staff that the male was back on the campus, and they wanted him formally trespassed. He was also reported to have slapped a female staff member on the backside. Prior to police arrival, College security officers located the male in one of the bathrooms, however, he pushed past them and fled the campus. Security officers followed the male toward downtown Vancouver and confirmed that he was the same male seen in the campus video. The male was not located by police.

On September 27th police conducted additional follow up with Clark College security. Police were also able to identify the male as Nolen Sanchez.

On September 28, 2024, Vancouver Police located, arrested, and booked Nolen P. Sanchez into the Clark County Jail for Assault IV-Sexual Motivation and Indecent Exposure.
