Back to School Traffic Safety

As local kids head back to school over the next few weeks, the traffic unit in coordination with school resource officers will be working a special enforcement plan around Broomfield schools.

The Broomfield Police Department would like to remind drivers to slow down and pay extra attention in the school zones as kids can be unpredictable. There are a variety of safety tips and resources available to parents from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
