NEWS RELEASE - MONTANA VISTA TURKEY DRIVE 2024

EL PASO, TEXAS - On November 21, 2024, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Montana Patrol Station Criminal Investigation and Targeted Response Unit (CITRU), in collaboration with Mrs. Tina Silva and Mrs. Alejandra Fierro, hosted a Turkey drive for the community of Montana Vista. The event took place at the 14600 block of Shelly Ln in El Paso County, Texas. More than 215 families were provided a turkey and a supplemental food box during the event. The project was intended to ensure families have the opportunity to celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving Day and alleviate some of the needs our community members are facing during this holiday season. This fantastic initiative was possible due to the kindness, donations, volunteer work, and unified efforts of the following community leaders and representatives: Mrs. Tina Silva and Mrs. Alejandra Fierro, El Paso County Sheriff's Office Montana Patrol Station- CITRU, El Paso County Sheriff's Officers Association, El Paso County Sheriff's Office Community Services Division, State Representative Mary Gonzalez, District Judge Patricio Garcia, District Judge Carlos Carrasco, District Judge Ruben Morales, Justice of the Peace 6-2 Judge Nina Serna, Flower Baking Company of El Paso, Walmart Neighborhood Market Socorro- #5960, and El Paso County Public Works.
