Oly on Ice: Weekly Highlights

Come enjoy the holiday spirit and winter fun at Oly on Ice! Located at Isthmus Park, the rink is buzzing with activities:

  • Friday, Dec 13: Ollie on Ice - Olympic Plumbing
    Join us for a family-friendly event as Ollie the Bigfoot hits the ice! Olympic Plumbing will be serving hot cocoa, hosting family activities, and offering a chance to win a free water heater and installation!
    Time: 6:00-8:00 PM

  • Saturday, Dec 14: Skating Magic - On Ice Performance
    Don't miss our enchanting on-ice holiday performance featuring local skaters! After the show, enjoy free skating lessons until 11:00 AM, with complimentary coffee provided by Dancing Goats.
    Time: 10:00-11:00 AM

  • Saturday, Dec 21: Pride DJ - BeautyKillsBarbie
    BeautyKillsBarbie is a Black trans DJ playing disco, house, and city beats.
    Time: 7:00-9:00 PM

Grass Lake Nature Park Update
Ongoing enhancements include:
  • 4,197 native plants added.
  • Over half an acre of invasive species removed.
  • Boardwalk construction underway.
Percival Plinth Project Applications Close January 6, 2025
The City of Olympia seeks up to 18 sculptures from Washington and Oregon artists for display at Percival Landing. Selected artists will receive a $1,000 honorarium, and their work is eligible for the People's Prize Purchase Award of up to $10,000. Holiday Light Parade
Catch the last of our annual Holiday Light Parades on Thursday, Dec 19! Enjoy City vehicles decked out in festive lights as they travel through Olympia. Visit our event website for route maps and a live tracker.
