Be Aware of Flood-Prone Areas

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Aug. 4, 2024) - With Tropical Storm Debby expected to produce heavy rainfall over the next two days, Charlotte County reminds residents to be aware of potential flooding risks in low-lying and coastal areas.

Areas historically impacted by flooding include downtown Punta Gorda, Charlotte Harbor, Riverside Drive, El Jobean and Manasota Key. Do not drive through flooded roads. Seek alternate routes.
