Lincoln Woods Barracks

At 12:52 PM, Troopers arrested Joao Goncalves, age 67, of 9 Tara Drive, North Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs - B.A.C. Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Paul Street in the Town of Lincoln. Mr. Goncalves was transported to the Lincoln Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

At 10:45 PM, Troopers arrested Vladimil A. Sanchez Jr., age 23, of 62 Locust Avenue, North Providence, Rhode Island, for Driving After Suspension of License - Certain Violations. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Anthony Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and held pending arraignment/presentment as a probation violator at Sixth Division District Court.

At 10:56 PM, Troopers arrested Alfredo Sanchez, age 58, of 78 Fifth Avenue, Apartment 3, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for 1.) Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance (Cocaine/Crack Cocaine); 2.) Manufacturing /Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver a Schedule I/II Controlled Substance (Fentanyl); 3.) Possession of a Counterfeit Bill or Note; 4.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance greater than 10 Grams (Cocaine/Crack Cocaine); and 5.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance less than 10 Grams (Fentanyl). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 in the Town of North Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and held pending arraignment at Third Division District Court.

At 10:56 PM, Troopers arrested Shanny M. Martinez, age 37, of 80 Curtis Street, Apartment 206, Providence, Rhode Island, for Obstructing a Police Officer in the Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 in the Town of North Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, where she was processed, and held pending arraignment at Third Division District Court.

At 12:22 AM, Troopers arrested Joao S. Periera, age 26, of 18 Slater Street, Apartment 3, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Driving After Suspension of License originating out of the Cumberland Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Merrick Street in the City of Pawtucket. The subject was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution - Men's Intake Center.

At 2:06 AM, Troopers arrested Nicholas J. Lage, age 39, of 651 New London Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor - BAC Unknown - Second Offense; 2.) Obstructing a Police Officer in the Execution of Duty; and 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test - First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle crash investigation on Route 10 in the City of Cranston. The subject was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.
